There may not be snow on the ground, but that won't stop Bethesda's Veterans Park from transforming into a winter wonderland on Saturday, Dec. 5! That's when the small park, which is located at the corner of Woodmont and Norfolk avenues, will host a Winter Wonderland event that promises three hours of festive fun for the whole family.
Little ones can expect plenty of make-and-take holiday crafts, plus sweet treats and, of course, a visit with Santa! Adults can marvel at the talent of ice sculptors, who'll be on site to carve seasonal scenes into oversized blocks of ice. Everyone will enjoy the live choral performances!
The Bethesda Winter Wonderland takes place 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 5. Admission is free. Hope to see you there, The Whitney!
